Cabinets, coming through

The cabinets are being installed this week. Some are backordered but the process is started. When we built this house we knew we wanted to build it to function for our needs. I realize that a lot of people want a big kitchen. For us, a functional open kitchen was all we needed. Don't get me wrong, a huge island and a 48" European range is beautiful, but that isn't me. What I do recommend before you place your cabinet order is to draw out or tape off the location of everything and make sure it is what you want and you like your working triangle. Also, consider the details. Rev-a-Shelf makes an insane amount of inserts to customize your kitchen. Smart storage means you don't need as many cabinets. Find what works for you.
